What should I do if the Cadilac dealership says they “Cannot reproduce the issue”?
Do not worry. This is something we hear all the time. This should not discourage you from following the steps outlined above.
Document the issue and save it in your records in case you need to pursue a Lemon Law claim. To qualify as a Lemon the manufacturer must fail to repair the vehicle after a reasonable number of repair attempts.
Generally, courts will allow four repair attempts before your car becomes a Lemon. However, if the mechanical problem creates a serious safety issue, only two repair attempts may be allowed before your Cadilac is considered a Lemon. Additionally, if the Cadilac is in the repair shop for 30 days or more altogether, courts consider the manufacturer to have made a reasonable number of repairs so the car can be classified as a Lemon.

Cadilac Recalls!
Cadilac is not immune from recalls just because it is a luxury car brand. In fact, in 2020-2021 Cadilac issued recalls affecting over 30,000 vehicles! Some of these
- Cadilac Q7 Airbag Control Module Recall
- Cadilac A5 Wiring Recall
- Airbag Recalls on 2021 Cadilac RS6 Avant, RS7, 2020-2021 A6 Allroad, S6 Sedan, S7, 2019-2021 A6 Sedan, and A7 vehicles.
Recalls are usually only made when there is a safety issue involved. Serious safety issues make it more likely that your car can be determined to be a Lemon since the Dealership gets fewer repair attempts for serious safety issues.
